Our floors are crafted from two of the world’s hardest and most beautiful hardwoods — Brazilian Cherry (Jatoba) and Brazilian Chestnut (Sucupira). These exotic species are renowned for their striking grain patterns and exceptional strength — testing up to three times harder than traditional Red Oak, White Oak, Maple, or Hickory commonly found in American homes. This remarkable density and stability form the foundation of what we call over-engineered hardwood.
Each BR Nativa board is ¾-inch thick and 10 inches wide, featuring an impressive 5mm sawn top veneer — a construction rarely seen in engineered flooring. This robust build allows our floors to combine the installation versatility of engineered wood with the solid integrity and refinishability of a traditional hardwood plank.
